The Gopher Academy has a Slack group for Go programmers. Slack sadly does not provide open-access groups, but you can request access easily through a online form.

There is a FreeNode IRC channel #azul3d (note: less used than Slack).

The /r/azul3d subreddit often contains news submissions.
